Though we’ve featured many varieties of roses over the years here at Lia Griffith, this is our first attempt at the English Rose. Known for its timeless charm and beauty, the English Rose has been celebrated in gardens, art, and poetry for centuries. So for this project, we wanted to capture that same romantic essence, offering a modern twist on a classic bloom.
Additionally, what makes this project truly stand out is its ease and versatility. The techniques you’ll learn in our video workshop — like shaping petals and creating seamless stems with floral tape — are simple yet so impactful. Further, the heavy crepe paper adds a lifelike texture, making these roses a true showstopper.
