MSRTC to observe Road Safety Fortnight from January 11 to 25 | Mumbai News
MUMBAI: The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) will observe Road Safety Fortnight across the state from January 11 to 25.
The events conducted by the department during this period will lay stress on road safety and also sensitising hundreds of drivers who operate 14000 state buses daily.
There will be training sessions to create awareness on how to avoid human errors while driving, control speed of buses on highways and how to be cautious while driving in the ghats.“We will also have seminars for drivers on how to destress and which will also prevent crashes if they are in a proper frame of mind while driving buses,” a senior official said.
Drivers involved in crashes will be counselled while senior drivers not involved in crashes for two decades or more will share their experience with others.
