The principal responsibilities essentially include:
Able to prepare SAS architecture based on Overall SLD, project configuration, and as per utility guidelines.
Shall be able to understand MV Panel and control relay panels drawings/schematics.
Able to prepare complete technical specification/RFP documents as per project requirements.
Able to prepare IO list, communication cable schedules, and control logic writes up.
Shall be able to verify technical compliance of Hardware and software systems.
Shall be able to do Factory acceptance test independently as per approved documents.
Shall have knowledge on basic of Protection of substations, power transformers, and generators
Shall have knowledge on different architectures RSTP, PRP, and HSR
Shall have Knowledge on Ethernet Switches, Router, and Firewall
Shall have knowledge of the different types of communication Ethernet, Fiber optic, Serial RS232/RS485, PLCC.
Shall have Knowledge of Substation Automation and Communication Protocol SNMP, SNTP, Modbus, IEC60870-5-103, IEC61850, IEC60870-5-101, and IEC60870-5-104.
Shall have Knowledge of RTU, SAS, and HMI functionalities.
