Front End- Senior System Analyst Full Time
Job Description
OVERALL RESPONSIBILTY:
The Front End Sr. Systems Analyst will be responsible for the following:
Managing Emerson Automation Solution Actuation Technologies Business Unit issues, requirements and projects related Front End tool application.
Serve as the primary liaison for Front End tool functions between Business and Technical Teams. Develop and maintain partnerships with Business, vendors, ACT onsite team to support the enhancement and global delivery of SCM, Manufacturing and Planning solutions.
Developing and Maintaining the user-facing applications and features using Vue.js/React.js
Building and supporting the modular and reusable components and front-end libraries for continued business sustenance
Maintain effective knowledge of Front-End Tool processes, as well as thorough awareness of trends and developments of emerging technologies, evaluating all for viability and benefit to organization.
Ensure quality delivery of IT projects and smooth transition to production support, including but not limited to, t ranslating existing designs and wireframes into high quality code base.
Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
Implementing and supporting automated testing integrated into development and maintenance workflows
Subject Matter Expert for all Front-End tool developments of ACT in the JavaScript and Vue.js space
Work with the business to understand challenges and weigh strategic considerations. Compare input from various sources to draw insightful conclusions. Employ effective approaches when partnering with third party and internal teams.
Provide Specify to Procure functional expertise when partnering with business teams to help identify opportunities for improvement both via process re-engineering and from automation through technology.
Provide and support Front End Tool as a packaged solution and process expertise when connecting IT and business stakeholders and identifying new IT-enabled solutions. Evaluate packaged solution options against IT roadmap, key requirements, and various constraints.
