Job description Basware s Project Delivery Team in North America is looking for a Solutions Consultant to understand , define and implement customer requirements for Basware software solutions and services. A Solution Consultant has direct responsibility for delivering system integrations , supplier integration , product extensions and other technical aspects of implementing the application suite. You will be part of an exciting , high – performing delivery team , focused on achieving true success for our clients. Basware is the global leader in providing solutions for better buying , better selling and connected commerce.
Job Duties:
Working with Basware s customer base to implement Basware s suite of software solutions
Working with internal and external Project Managers , Solution Architects , and other key business users to scope integration solutions and conduct technical gap analyses of software environments
Development , validation , and deployment of ETL activities with different datasets (e.g. DB , XML , CSV) for various software systems (e.g. ERP , Document Archiving , Purchasing)
Delivery of relevant documentation during project milestones (e.g. integration mappings , process flowcharts , testing results , migration scripts)
Contributing to and supporting the company integration strategies , templates , development practices , and quality assurance plans
Learning data models and business processes with numerous ERP systems
Working in international projects and global deployments in a multicultural atmosphere
Desired Skills & Experience:
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs , with ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
2 years of relevant business / solution / industry experience
Prior consulting / project delivery experience
Basic knowledge / concepts of software development in any programming language
Experience with AP & Procurement modules within ERP systems (e.g. SAP , Oracle , JDE , PeopleSoft , Lawson)
Familiar with troubleshooting technical issues in Windows , ideally with Windows Server and IIS
Aptitude to develop and troubleshoot SQL or PL / SQL statements
Fundamental understanding of XML document structures
Self – motivated with attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement
Ability to multitask and communicate effectively to technical and functional audiences
Able to work in international projects with collocated multinational teams.
