In charge of managing category P&L and ensuring competitive pricing across the categories to ensure category profitability while directly contributing to the channel growth.
Collaborate with the global team of buyers and merchandisers (head office) to expand product categories. Liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category. Prepare demand forecast for the categories and the products to ensure the sustainability of inventory. 5. Will be responsible for managing stock, procurement and pricing (co- ordination with global warehouses to meet demand).
6. Understanding of how digital marketing domains work for electronics and apparel categories and prepare the category growth roadmap based on digital first channel selection.
7. Reviews, compares and analyzes past and current sales data and YTD reports to determine traffic metrics, trends and online changes to increase conversion and sales.
Proven track record as a category manager or similar role in ecommerce (electronics) mandatory. 2. Should have managed a category portfolio with a minimum annual revenue of over 10 Million USD.
Excellent knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles. Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods. Proficient in MS Office. Excellent communication and people skills. 7. Master s in business administration, marketing or related field.
