George Conway Predicts Donald Trump Will ‘Spend The Rest Of His Life In Jail’

Empty prison cell jailGeorge Conway — the right-leaning former Wachtell partner — has become more known as a Republican never-Trump standard bearer than pretty much anything else these days. Speaking of former, he’s also the former spouse of Kellyanne Conway, noted advisor to Donald Trump. So, yeah, maybe his criticism of Trump reads a little sharper than most.

In any event, Conway recently appeared on The Bulwark, predicting how all the legal trouble the former president finds himself in will end — with jail. “Trump will spend the rest of his life in jail,” Conway said. “It may take a while. Justice has already taken a while. He’s going to end up spending the rest of his life in jail.”

Conway was not a fan of Trump’s argument that he has “absolute immunity,” calling it “completely insane.” And Conway also noted the poor reception the laughable argument got at the D.C. Circuit, saying, “Judge [Florence] Pan, just with great intellectual nimbleness, just picked him apart.”
