Fashion rental platform By Rotation adds new ‘local’ feature
As the fashion rental marketplace continues to expand its universe, global platform By Rotation is actually going local.

Calling itself the ‘Airbnb of fashion’ and operating in both the UK and the US as “the world’s largest shared wardrobe”, By Rotation has released a “game-changing” ‘locations’ feature, that allows consumers to discover and book rentals based on their location.
“Whether you’re looking for a last-minute outfit or want to peek inside your neighbours’ virtual wardrobe for future rentals, you can now start browsing rentals near you. Think, Jacquemus and Self-Portrait just a few streets away”, it says.
Its claim to be game-changing is based in its ability to offer last-minute rentals with on-demand outfit options. This allows consumers to pick up their rental “with ease”, discover other ‘Rotators’ near to them, while minimising consumers’ environmental footprint by avoiding item shipping.
Founder & CEO Eshita Kabra-Davies said: “As now the world’s largest shared wardrobe with over 120,000 peer to peer designer items, we noticed pockets of high-density areas with lenders and renters. To facilitate last minute rentals (even better than next day delivery from many luxury retailers), this feature allows you to rent from your neighbours – truly taking our community approach to the next level.”
