World Insurance Acquired Grandview Brokerage of Brooklyn

National insurance broker World Insurance Associates LLC announced that it acquired the business of Grandview Brokerage LLC of Brooklyn, New York last November.

Grandview provides commercial and personal insurance with niches in the healthcare, real estate, and jewelry industry.

Michael Schwimmer, Grandview chief executive officer, said that joining World means the agency is able to offer additional products and services.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

World Insurance Associates is headquartered in Iselin, New Jersey. Since its founding in 2011, World has completed more than 220 acquisitions and serves its clients from more than 250 offices across the country. World is ranked #15 on the Top 100 P&C Agencies list by Insurance Journal.
