Udhagamandalam: Hours after a leopard which attacked five people and killed two, was captured from Pandalur range in the Nilgiris, another leopard was spotted at the Parry Agro estate area in Pandalur range late on Sunday night. A forest team is now monitoring the area. Forest department officials have requested the public to stay safe and not venture out in the early hours of the morning and late in the evenings.Officials have also appealed to estate workers in the area to work only between 9am and 4 pm.
Tea estate workers in Pandalur had just returned to work on Monday, after staying away for 15 days following the leopard attacks over the last two weeks. tnn
